Cancellation Policy

The Trek proceeds in all reasonable weather conditions, rain or shine. In the event that Trek for Life Aotearoa has to cancel any part or day/s of the trek for any reason, the relevant part of the total balance that has been paid may be refunded in the manner in which it was originally paid.

In the event that YOU have to cancel for any reason, cancellation fees will be calculated as follows:

Cancellation Policy as follows:

31 or more days prior to Trek:        Deposit retained
30-15 days prior to Trek:               50% of Total Balance retained
14 days or less prior to Trek:         100% of Total Balance retained

The Trek for Life Aotearoa Trustees will endeavour to be fair and reasonable, and will take in all factors into consideration, should a horse become lame during the trek, or the participant cannot continue as documented in their application documentation. Relevant medical / equine documentation will be required for the Trustees perusal before a final decision will be made regarding possible refund
