Schedule
Here is a basic overview of the schedule for the March trek.
Please note that this is a guide only.
Friday
–
Set up
The Trustees and others will be onsite at Start Camp (Camp 1) to begin to get organised for everyones arrival.
You are more than welcome to arrive this day as well - but please note that no services (i.e. toilets, showers and catering) will be available until Saturday afternoon.
So if you are planning on arriving on this Friday, please let us know, and ensure that you are FULLY self-sufficient (food, water, toilet, horse feed etc).

Saturday

Arrival Day
We expect most people to arrive on this day.
The Airport Shuttle will collect those who have registered from the designated Airport.
The End Camp Shuttle will leave the End Camp early afternoon in order to have you all back at Camp before First Muster.

Registrations Open
Head to the Info Caravan and get your registration pack!

6.30pm
First Muster
The official start to the Trek for Life!
Here we will introduce people, welcome everyone who has come, introduce our team, run through basic housekeeping rules and let you know what to expect for the first day of trekking tomorrow!

7.30pm
Dinner
Our friends at Ani’s Catering will be putting up the first of many delicious dinners
Please make sure that you have made note of any allergies on your Registration Form. We provide a Vege/Vegan and a Gluten Free option for those who require it, but we cannot cater to allergies if we do not know about it beforehand!

Socialising
The onsite bar will have range of beverages for you to purchase and enjoy, or you are more than welcome to BYO, and we hope you will spend some time in the Marquee getting to know your fellow Trekkers!
Sunday to Tuesday

Wake up with the Sun
You will see your Marshalls getting ready to head out bright an early so they are in place to keep all you Trekkers safe!
Many horse riders also choose to catch their horses now to give them their breakfast.

6.30am - 7.30am
Breakfast
There will be a Buffet Breakfast available in the Marquee, along with the fixtures for you to pack your own lunch.

After breakfast
Head Out
The exact times for departure will be given at Muster the night before - along with some info about today’s route. Please pay attention!

Lunch
The Lunch stop will be approximately halfway along the route. There will be the Fuel Stop (with hot water, tea, coffee and Milo - bring your own cup!) and some snacks available for purchase, along with some toilets.
Where access allows the Coffee Cart will also be there for those who need a smoothie, juice or caffeine fix!
Of course you may choose to have your lunch break at a scenic point along the route!

Arrive back at Camp
Trekkers generally begin trickling back into camp from mid-afternoon.
This is time to set up your camp for the night, relax, have a shower, or even book a massage if you like!

Muster
Gather in the Marquee to recap on the day and hear about tomorrow’s route!

7.30pm
Dinner & Socialising
The onsite bar will have a range of beverages for you to purchase and enjoy, or you are more than welcome to BYO, and we hope you will spend some time in the Marquee getting to know your fellow Trekkers!
Wednesday
REST DAY!

7.30am-8.30am
Breakfast
Buffet Breakfast available in the Marquee a little bit later than normal, along with the fixtures for you to make your own lunch.

Relax
Today is your Rest Day!
Use this day to relax, and venture out at your own pace to explore what the area has to offer.
There may be scheduled activities or pick-ups/drop-offs that you can take advantage of - these will be mentioned at Muster, and info will be available at the Information Caravan.

Gather in the Marquee to recap on the day and hear about tomorrow’s route! Please pay attention!

7.30pm
Dinner, Socialising & Auction Night
The onsite bar will have a range of beverages for you to purchase and enjoy, or you are more than welcome to BYO, and we hope you will spend some time in the Marquee getting to know your fellow Trekkers!
This night we will have an auction of donated items to help raise a little bit extra for the cause! If you have anything to contribute please let us know/or bring it with you - we would appreciate it!
Thursday to Saturday

People will be heading out at all times as they make their way home.
The Airport Shuttle will depart at the time given at Muster the night before.
